The Veda is the ancient record of spiritual experience which is the source of the arts and sciences of Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, meditation, and the whole of Indian philosophy.
Knowledge of the Veda is said to confer mastery of all the laws of nature, because the Veda is structured as universal knowledge available within everyone’s consciousness – it is the blueprint of creation.
Thom Knoles is recognised as one of the world’s foremost teachers of the Veda’s true meaning and application. In a six-seminar course of 78 hours recorded over a 2 year period, Thom delves deeply into the Veda and draws out pearls of wisdom that are nothing short of life-changing. Students of Exploring the Veda learn techniques for deepening meditation, for correcting the mistakes of the mind and heart, and for manifesting the life experiences that reveal true fulfilment.
Exploring The Veda Schedule
This course is made up of 6 seminars which must be taken in order.
The seminar classes are held on evenings and weekends in six 10 – 16 hour sessions, usually over Friday evening, and Saturday and Sunday during the day. They are conducted in a ‘semi-retreat’ format, which means that students come together with an Initiator serving as the teacher and facilitator, listen to the lectures, then have a Q&A session with the class members and the Teacher.
Each course includes healthy vegetarian meals.
Anthony Thompson is the only teacher in London offering this course.
The course starts several times throughout the year, with the seminars offered in order (we call this a “track”). Students are strongly encouraged to start a “track” and take all seminars in order, but if you must skip a seminar due to scheduling requirements, you can make up the seminar by sitting in on another Teacher’s “track”. Your commitment would not be to the entire series, but to each individual seminar.
The basis for moving to the next level is contingent on feeling naturally inspired to do so.
Prerequisite
In order to participate in Exploring the Veda you must be actively practicing Vedic Meditation or Transcendental Meditation™ and have completed Rounding Instruction (personal instruction in Vedic Yoga Asanas and slow/deep Sukha Pranayama and explanation of what comprises a Round).
Course Investment
Your investment in each class is £500. Payment must be received at least 2 days prior to commencement of the first class, and can be made with cash, cheque, bank transfer or major credit card.
