Just Curious?
Are you curious about meditation but unsure how to begin?
Over this past year you may have come across articles or posts about meditation and been curious but never wanted to take the next step. Are you interested but worried you won’t be able to do it? Or have you tried to meditate but couldn’t stop thinking? Have you tried an app and found you could never get on with it?
If you are looking for an easy-to-learn and simple-to-practise meditation technique, which will give you a regular dose of calm and connection, keep watching - I may have just what you need.
I’m Anthony Thompson and I teach Vedic Meditation, a simple mental technique practised whilst sitting in a chair with your eyes closed.
You think of a mantra - a sound chosen by the teacher, which quietens the mind and the body rests very deeply. After 20 minutes you come out refreshed, energised and feeling happy.

What are you waiting for?
Let’s get going!
Regular meditation results in a feeling of ease and contentment which comes from the release of natural bliss chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. Meditation helps increase your ability to focus and maintain concentration and you experience an increase in sharp thinking and awareness.
Come along to one of our free introductory talks currently held online or in person, observing social distancing measures.
You can also sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more meditation information, tips, and support.
