Meditation for Teenagers
Aged 11-15
Young people have been under extraordinary stress and pressure over the past twelve months and the impact on their lives will be felt for some time. This is a great moment to get in place a tool which will serve them well now and in the years to come.
Your child's resilience, creativity and sense of self at this key stage in their development will be strengthen by learning this technique.
They will be happier, healthier, more grounded, find learning easier and be capable of more balanced communication and behaviour.
Learning to meditate at this age can have profound and long lasting benefits.
I was taught to meditate at school aged 15 and can personally testify to the wide range of benefits Vedic Meditation can give to an enquiring mind. My early meditation practice helped me navigate through those tortuous teenage years which were filled with lack of self confidence, bewilderment and a great deal of learning. My attention span increased, I was able to focus better and get greater perspective. With an increased sense of self I felt calmer and more centred, resilient and confident. Relationships became easier and life flowed.
Anyone aged 11 - 15 years can learn Vedic Meditation over two days.
(Older teenagers can take the full four day Vedic Meditation Course)
Each of the two 90 minute sessions will cover everything they need to know to enable them to become self sufficient meditators.
The Course fee is £200.
Your child needs to have expressed an interest in learning to meditate and a parent, carer or close family member needs to be a regular meditator.
